As I mentioned, I'm a little obsessed right now with baby leggings. For my little male, I like to think of them more as a slim, fitted baby pant.
Because I'm a cheapy cheap, I really don't like spending money on baby clothes, and baby leggings can be expensive - so I made some out of a jersey scarf I had made when I was testing out my serger. Look at those cheeks, he is one chunky little monkey.
Let's just say I love them. But here's the problem, every time I put R in them, within an hour he pees through his diaper and all over them. It's hard to see but I've drawn some arrows for clarity.
I've already bought more fabric so I can make him millions of pairs. Now he can pee all he wants on them and I'll always have a pair in reserve.
While I had him in his peed on clothes, I figured why not do a little photo shoot while we did some tummy time since it had been before Christmas when I last got shots of him.
This last one is a token one for my cousin - she had bought him this Mickey at Disneyland and I promised her I would get a picture of R swaddled next to him. We actually stopped swaddling him at night several weeks ago. He was just too strong and kept breaking out of it and waking up. After he had woken me up at 12AM, 2AM, and 4AM, I decided we weren't going to swaddle anymore lest I lose my mind.
Oh, you're wondering about that board and batten? It's finished and here's a peak.

Cute leggings!! What I found to be a lifesaver, were the baby legwarmers. When we were at home, had my girl in a long or short sleeved onesie (depending on the weather) and then slid the baby legs on her. It was fabulous! And no getting pee on them was the best! http://www.babylegs.com/ (although I didn't actually have baby legs brand!)
