So you've probably seen these just aboot everywhere, but that's because they're super simple, super inexpensive, and super functional.
I'm talking about book shelf ledges - I'm constructing mine with 1x4 and 1x2 pieces of wood - since I'm making four 2ft long ones, we got 16 ft of the 1x4, and 8 ft of the 1x2. And because I'm lazy, we got the already-primed stuff.
So here's where the four ledges are going on the wall. I'm a little nervous as R gets older it will look like a ladder to him, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
Here are two of them assembled - I only have so many clamps so I could only have two setting at a time.
For all the projects I've done, I really am not that experienced yet with my nail gun since I usually use screws for most things, so a couple of mishaps may or may not have taken place.
Nothing a pair of snips can't fix, right?

You know I love em, since I too have some in my house. And I use my nailgun like crazy, and try to be extremely careful, and STILL shoot out nails. Drives me nuts.
